A modular table structure supports the POGO flexible tooling system. It consists of base plate sections that contain an array of actuator pockets for mounting POGO actuators and an underlying frame structure, which supports the base plate sections.

Based on customer needs, the appropriate table size, orientation (horizontal, vertical, "U" or "butterfly") and pocket pattern are determined. Specially designed structures are available for parts with extreme curvature. The table can also be outfitted with standard tooling features such as T-slots, tapped holes, etc. in order to accommodate traditional tooling fixtures.

The design of the table structure allows the majority of the installation and maintenance work to be done above the table. All pockets are pre-plumbed and pre-wired for plug-and-play use of actuators, which can be added, relocated or replaced with minimal effort when necessary.
